A Seaside for All Seasons
The coastline, much of it an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasts miles of untouched beaches,Hunstanton Beach dunes and marshland and is a haven for birds and wild life and supports two RSPB nature reserves, particularly popular with birdwatchers in the winter months.  It is the perfect place to relax.
Alternatively, for a traditional family seaside holiday, you couldn't find better than Hunstanton, overlooking the Wash, with its clean, safe beaches and miles of sand, shops, restaurants and award-wining leisure resorts.
Hunstanton boasts the Princess Theatre with its year-round programme of entertainment and the Oasis Leisure Centre for family fun both in and out of the water.  There is also a funfair, adventure golf and the Sealife Centre.

Glorious Countryside
Country Lane at TitchwellTake time out from the beach to explore the gently rolling countryside dotted with farms and historic flint and carrstone villages like Burnham Market, Thornham and Snettisham.  Cycle through linseed and poppy fields on our quiet country lanes and sample fresh seafoods and other local produce in our friendly local pubs and restaurants.  Don't miss the Hoste Arms, The Rose & Crown at Snettisham or the King's Head at Bircham.

Things to do and see in West Norfolk
Animal lovers can get up close to deer at Snettisham Park and kids will love the rare breeds at Church Farm.  The Butterfly and Willdlife Park is also home to reptiles and wallabies.  In West Norfolk, windmills still turn their sails and at some, flour is still ground and the most delicious bread baked!  For gardeners there's Norfolk Lavender and the African Violet and Garden Centre and many more gardens at West Norfolk's stately homes.

 

History and Heritage
Discover the royal estate of Sandringham or visit stately homes Holkham or Houghton Hall.  Experience the rich and varied maritime history in the magnificent Kings Lynn Custom House.  Enjoy the wealth of architecture or relax in the peace of the 'Walks', the town's central park and don't forget, King's Lynn will soon be home to a brand new exhibition of the 4000 year old Seahenge discovered on the nearby beach at Holme-next-the-Sea.
