Regular Events
The Discover West Norfolk Group hosts regular events. There is always an AGM in early March. Other regular features have been a spring Trade Show and a summer social event in June.
The AGM 2011
This year, the AGM once again took place at The King William Country Inn & Restaurant at Sedgeford, courtesy of Nick and Lili Skerritt, where all members can enjoy up to two free buffet meals as part of their membership.

Like 2010, we all enjoyed another delicious meal at The King William. We were all able to meet the staff and find out the latest developments at The King William, as well as meeting and sharing experiences with other Discover West Norfolk members. Another fantastic opportunity to network and learn from each other.
The meeting commenced with AGM business then, following the
buffet, Mark Bristow of the Fox and Hounds Brewery in Heacham talk to
members about how he has been brewing his delicious ales since 2002, using
only local malt and hops. The Fox and Hounds Brewery make a wide range of nine different beers
and ales, as well as some speciality beers, such as ‘Nelson’s Blood’
beer for the Lord Nelson at Burnham Thorpe.
